Waterproof Computers
Waterproof computers are constructed with stainless steel (e.g., SUS304, SUS316, or SUS316L). They are completely sealed to prevent the intrusion of dust, water, or even water jets, allowing them to dissipate heat through the metal casing without the need for internal fans. Waterproof computers are primarily used in industries such as food processing, which includes beverage manufacturing and meat/poultry processing; the pharmaceutical industry; clean room manufacturing; marine; and various outdoor applications.
Waterproof computers have Ingress Protection ratings that range from IP65 to IP69K. Depending on the application, different IP ratings should be chosen.
