Light Customization
At IPCMate, our account specialists are deeply familiar with embedded / IPC technologies and understand how to match hardware designs to real-world application constraints. When you engage our Project Consultation service, we’ll guide you through the choices, trade-offs, and optimizations so your system performs reliably in your target environment.
For example: if your design demands high-brightness displays outdoors, we’ll help you select components and architectures that manage power, cooling, and thermal considerations. Our team will ask the right questions—operating environment, ingress protection, interface needs, performance goals—to ensure the final solution is robust.

Computer Customization
Not every project needs a full redesign — many customer needs can be met by subtle adjustments:
On-product options already in spec (e.g. extended temp range, alternate I/O, custom firmware) can often be included at no design fee.
Minor modifications (e.g. adding extra USB ports, custom mounting holes, specific connector layouts) can often be accommodated — for orders above a minimum quantity they may be done at no additional engineering cost, or with modest fees for smaller runs.
These light customizations allow you to adapt an existing product baseline to your use case without reinventing the wheel.
Full Engineering / Ground-Up Design
Some customers require solutions that go beyond tweaking — they need truly bespoke designs. When your project involves:
Unique form factors or housings
Integration of customer-specified peripherals
Custom PCBs, new enclosure designs
High-end GPU modules or thermal, power, signal constraints
We offer full design services (OEM / ODM) including non-recurring engineering (NRE) where applicable. For high volume projects, NRE can sometimes be amortized into unit pricing or even waived, depending on scale and partnership terms.
